About Me

Acting, dancing, and singing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dance across the screen. I fell in love with Gideon while watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers because he was the cutest brother. I listened to my Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables CDs on repeat.

I have spent twenty years in the classroom working with students of all ages, I have taught acting, dance, directing, scenic design, costume design, youth theatre, technical theatre, and film studies. I have had opportunities to direct and choreograph professionally in the theatre industry throughout the greater Salt Lake area.

I earned a Master of Fine Arts in Applied Theatre and Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. I currently teach at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, where I continually seek ways to use theatre as a tool for social engagement and enrichment.

When I am not teaching or directing, I enjoy hiking through National Parks, Disneyland, binging Netflix and traveling the world with my husband.
